Elegance with Edge Huawei Ascend P6

The Huawei Ascend P6 has been announced and is the company’s flagship smartphone for 2013 and is being promoted with the terms “Elegance with Edge” as seen in the promotional video below.

3G has not heard of a smartphone being promoted as “elegant” before and so were intrigued to see why Huawei say this. In-fact, Huawei go further claiming the Ascend P6 is “impossibly elegant”.

Huawei Ascend P6 Elegance

The elegance, it seems, stems from the fact that it’s the thinnest smartphone in the world, is housed in a slim metallic body and comes with a signature curvature design.

The P6 comes in an aluminium metallic body and with its form and looks will likely fall into direct competition with the iPhone 5, Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. It lands with Android Jelly Bean ( 4.2.2 ) and comes with a new version of the company’s Emotion UI called ME Widget.
